FREE Vintage 1940s Sewing Patterns | German Die Alma Mode Winter 1947 | 1948

Enjoy these three lovely vintage 40’s Dress patterns

This type of system is similar Lutterloh and other systems and one of the easiest for pattern making in my opinion. All you have to do is click on the link and print out the pieces and follow the directions–be sure that you are working with a metric tape measure and the correct rulers.

I plan to add a list of supplies–just though about..stay tuned..

  1. ok a couple questions.
1 is the pattern full size(pre draft) when you print it out on a regular piece of printer paper.
    2. what materials would be best for this?

      • I do have a link for the tutorial on how to draft these patterns–this is for advanced dressmakers. I am on my way to teach a class right now I will provide you with that information by the weekend and please accept my apology for the delay.

        Kind regards,
        Ruby

  2. The note on the pattern says for the skirt of 508A, see pattern 503. I really love 508a with the wide skirt and the large floral print. Do you know if the page for pattern 503 is available, please? Googling turns up only this page for “Die Alma Mode.” Also, do you know what sizing scale this company used? Thank you so much for posting these!
