Lily Design Book 73 has some of the most exquisite vintage crochet pattern designs created during the 1950’s.
My favorite is the Lace Valentine with one of the most challenging center starts — I’m still trying to figure-out what the instructions are actually directing me to do :(.
Another favorite of mine is Fairy Ring another precious design.
The Lily Mills Company was a North Carolina cotton mill, there doesn’t seem to be much information about the company but of the vintage books and patterns I’ve collected contain some of the prettiest vintage thread crochet patterns around.
